More training. More practice. More games.
Summer teams run a seven-week season of 21 team practices plus 7 positional sessions, with games and tournaments — built for volume, not a handful of weekend showcases.
Founded 2025
A new era of club lacrosse in the East Metro. East Side Tide was built to give East Metro players more development for less — and to make a real club experience reachable for more families.
East Side Tide is a development-focused club lacrosse program in the East Metro of the Twin Cities, founded in 2025 and based at ES Lacrosse Woodbury. It builds summer teams and small-group training for U12 through high school on a model of small groups, high reps, and budget-friendly pricing.
Our Story
East Side Tide started in 2025 with a straightforward idea: the East Metro deserved a club where players get more reps and more individual coaching, at a price families could actually say yes to. The first tryouts were held outdoors that summer, and the response made it clear there was real appetite for a development-first program close to home.
For the summer season, the program moved its training indoors to ES Lacrosse Woodbury and expanded — adding a U12 age group alongside a full slate of summer teams and positional training sessions. The throughline hasn’t changed: keep groups small, keep the reps high, and keep it within reach for the families of East Metro, Twin Cities.
Roll with The Tide.
Our Mission
Cultivating lacrosse excellence through smart play, fundamental skills, and character development.
Why East Side Tide
Summer teams run a seven-week season of 21 team practices plus 7 positional sessions, with games and tournaments — built for volume, not a handful of weekend showcases.
Small group sizes, high reps, and individually tailored coaching mean every athlete gets seen, coached, and pushed at their own position and level.
An intentionally lean model keeps the price within reach for East Metro families — competitive development without the premium-club price tag.
Train close to home at ES Lacrosse Woodbury, the program’s indoor home base in the heart of the East Metro.
The Model
Low player-to-coach ratios so every athlete gets seen and coached.
More touches per session — reps are how skills actually develop.
Coaching to each player’s position, level, and goals.

A development-focused model that stays budget-friendly for families.
Coaching Philosophy
Skills develop through touches. Sessions are capped small so players actually get the ball on their stick instead of standing in long lines.
Every athlete arrives at a different position, level, and set of goals. Coaching is tailored to the individual rather than run through a one-size-fits-all script.
The mission is to cultivate lacrosse excellence through smart play, fundamental skills, and character development — on and off the field.
